November Book Group - Thursday

Description of event: The group will meet next on Guy Fawkes Day, a long-standing observance marking the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when conspirators sought to blow up Parliament and assassinate King James I. The night’s crackling bonfires and bright fireworks recall the explosives found beneath the House of Lords and the public relief at the king’s survival. While we won't be having a bonfire or fireworks, we will be discussing books in the theme of insurrection / revolution.
Everyone is welcome, just be prepared to discuss a book of your choice within the theme.
